Ed Sheeran's wife is consultant and sustainability advocate Cherry Seaborn. A fellow Suffolk native, the couple are childhood sweethearts of a kind, having been close friends since they were children attending same school, Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham.

However, while the pair have known each other well since they were 11-years-old, they only began dating in 2015. Ed and Cherry got engaged in 2018, and then got married in a very secretive ceremony a year later.
Rumors that the 'Lego House' singer – who wrote his 2017 hit 'Perfect' about his then-girlfriend – was already secretly married Cherry existed prior to the date of their actual marriage. This was because some fans believed the couple had already tied the knot owing to Ed being seen wearing a ring in mid-2018.
What does Cherry Seaborn do for a living?
According to her LinkedIn page, Cherry Seaborn Sheeran works as a manager at the consultancy corporation Deloitte UK. She previously worked as a senior risk advisory consultant at the company from 2016 to 2018.

In 2021, the 30-year-old successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business at the University of Cambridge. She had previously studied in Durham, UK, and did a master's degree at Duke University's Furqa School of Business in Durham, North Carolina.
In her spare time, Cherry is an avid hockey player. Ed has sometimes been seen pitch-side supporting his wife as she plays the sport which she used to compete in internationally as a part of England's U18s and U21s teams.
What is Ed Sheeran's wife's health issue?
While announcing the release of his fifth album, Subtract, on March 1, Ed also revealed that his wife Cherry was diagnosed with a tumour while she was pregnant with their second child, Jupiter.
In an Instagram post, Ed detailed how he had scrapped the album he was working on to rewrite it in a week due to various devastating life events. "Within the space of a month, my pregnant wife got told she had a tumour, with no route to treatment until after the birth," he explained.
He continued: "My best friend Jamal, a brother to me, died suddenly. I was spiralling through fear, depression and anxiety. I felt like I was drowning, head below the surface, looking up but not being able to break through for air.

"For the first time, I'm not trying to craft an album people will like, I’m merely putting something out that’s honest and true to where I am in my adult life," he finished. Ed's album announcement didn't give any more details on Cherry's current condition, and he has yet to make another public statement on the subject of her health.
Seeing as the pair welcomed their second child in May 2022, here's hoping Cherry has now been able to undergo the treatment needed for a full recovery from her tumour.

Does Ed Sheeran live with his wife?
Yes, Ed and Cherry live together in their £3.7million ($4.6million) estate in Suffolk along with their two children: ten-months-old Jupiter, and Lyra Antarctica, two. The couple moved to their home, nicknamed Sheeranville, after they started dating in 2015.
The 'Thinking Out Loud' star owns several houses on the Suffolk site, including a modern detached farmhouse, complete with a billiards room and recording studio, a 16th-century Grade II-listed farmhouse, a four-bedroom home in front of the farmhouse, and another bungalow – all of which he has purchased over the past eight years.
